Business Administration Apprentice - North / West Yorkshire

BioGrad Education is seeking four Business Administration apprentices, each responsible for one of four key regions. In this role you will support learners with enquiries, bookings, payments, transfers and activities and provide effective communications with all team members at your designated site.

Key Responsibilities
1. Working with Students
- Liaise with students/parents and respond to general enquiries.
- Assist students when they are on site.
- Assist with any SEND issues when required.
3. Safeguarding
- Working with the Safeguarding Lead and DSL to ensure that the policy has been read, understood and is being followed.
2. Office Administration
- Manage cancellations and transfer of bookings.
- Check on payment status and chase outstanding balances.
- Collate registration paperwork including enrolment forms.
- Ensure registers and other appropriate documentation is ready for lecturing staff.
- Ensuring that lecturers have completed the register at the beginning of each AM and PM session.
- Responsibility for the Student Services Reception area, answering the phones and to ensure the breakout space is clean and tidy for students.
- Follow up calls if students have not arrived/chasing late attendance.
- Complete Skills Bootcamps DfE spreadsheet to support claims.
- Creating and sending references and certificates to students.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English Language is essential
- Currently working towards a Business administration qualification is desirable.
Skills & Knowledge
- Microsoft office including excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organisation skills.
- Ability to review documentation and make appropriate amends within set guidelines.
- An ability to problem solve.
- Experience of working with students with SEND is desirable.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural setting is desirable.
- Previous work experience in s small business setting is desirable.
