BioManCoE
The Bio Manufacturing Centre of Excellence (BioManCoE) for Cell & Gene Therapy is being established in the Liverpool City Region, located at Wavertree Technology Park.
The Centre is a collaborative initiative between the NHS, industry, civic and university partners to accelerate the translation and manufacture of advanced therapies.
BioManCoE aligns with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Growth Plans, the Modern Industrial Strategy, the NHS 10-year plan and the Northern Arc.

Our vision is simple but transformational: to ensure every patient, regardless of background or postcode, can access the life-saving cell and gene therapies of the future. These advanced treatments are already reshaping how we fight disease, yet access remains uneven, production capacity is limited, and costs remain high. The BioManCoE for Cell Therapy will directly address these system-level challenges and unlock the extraordinary opportunities created by rapidly growing global demand.
The Bio Manufacturing Centre of Excellence is a growth cluster of innovative companies collaborating to become a national leader in cell therapy bio manufacturing, research and development. Tenants will have access to business support and growth opportunities and develop their products and services.
