Founded in 2015 by multi-award winning entrepreneur Debbie Gilbert, the Best Businesswomen Awards are now considered to be one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for businesswomen. The awards cover a wide variety of industries and recognises and rewards female business talent.
Innovation Award and Woman of the Year 2022 - Downtown in Business
Downtown in Business (DIB) is an award-winning networking events company that connects businesses and entrepreneurs with the right companies and people to collaborate with in business. They use their impressive database and social media following to ensure that businesses have the best opportunities and contacts to help them thrive. DIB hosted their Women in Business awards and The BioGrad Group won the Innovation Award in 2022, and Dr. Natalie Kenny won the Women of the Year award.
City Region Leader 2022 - The Northern Leadership Awards
TheBusinessDesk.com created the Northern Leadership Awards to celebrate people that are role models within their organisations and raise the bar for their competitors. The winners show the qualities of extraordinary leadership and are able to demonstrate the positive impact this has had. Dr. Natalie Kenny won the Top 50 City Region Leader award for Liverpool.

Dr. Natalie Kenny won the Outstanding Entrepreneur award for The BioGrad Group, its establishment and growth, and all the notable strides that have been made in biomedical science and diagnostics.
