Personal Assistant / Administrator to CEO

Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills? We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant / Administrator to support our CEO in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in helping the CEO achieve strategic business goals, while also handling a wide range of administrative responsibilities.
This role requires strong literacy and writing skills, as you you be responsible for drafting emails, reports, and presentations. You must also be comfortable building relationships with clients and external stakeholders, as well as assisting the CEO at meetings and events across the UK. A full clean driving licence is essential, and while travel is required, we offer hybrid working options for greater flexibility. Additionally, this position provides significant opportunity for career progression into executive-level roles
Reports to: CEO
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing their diary, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel and accommodation.
- Draft professional emails, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the CEO, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders on behalf of the CEO, building and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Organise and attend key meetings, both in-person and virtually, handling logistics, preparing agendas, taking notes, and ensuring action points are followed up.
- Accompany the CEO to meetings and events across the UK, taking notes, managing logistics, and assisting with follow-up tasks as needed.
- Ensure the business complies with regulatory requirements, including GDPR and internal policies. Assist in managing company licences and other operational tasks.
- Liaise with other departments, particularly finance, to ensure smooth communication and completion of administrative tasks.
- Support tender writing and contribute to projects that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure the organisation meets external regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, particularly in relation to GDPR.
- Manage company records, ensuring they are properly maintained, accessible, and archived as required.

- Flexibility & Resilience: Willingness to travel within the UK to support the CEO, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
