Lead Course Administrator

Description

We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Lead Course Administrator with a focus on quality management to oversee the daily administrative operations of our organisation. This role involves ensuring smooth office functions and development and management of a small team of Business Administration apprentices whilst also taking responsibility for maintaining quality standards generally. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management (ideally in an education setting), quality control and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Role-specific responsibilities

1. Office Management

  • Oversee all day-to-day office operations and procedures, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring that the work environment remains well-organised and functional.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff regarding office-related matters.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings
  • Manage and support administrative staff, assigning tasks and facilitating team collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with company standards.

2. Quality Management

  • Monitor and maintain the company’s quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry and educational standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure continuous adherence to quality standards, with the support of Head of Quality.
  • Coordinate training sessions on quality control and standards for staff, ensuring compliance across departments.
  • Lead the resolution of any quality-related issues.

3. Communication and Co-ordination

  • Foster clear communication between management and staff to ensure smooth office operations and alignment with quality objectives.
  • Liaise with external clients, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support cross-functional teams in addressing quality concerns and improving operational efficiencies.

Person Specification

Qualifications, Training & Knowledge

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, office management, quality management, or a related field.

Desirable

  • Understanding of the British education sector
